Creative Workshops - Northern Beef Producers

Step away from the yards for a moment and step into something hands-on and creative at the Northern Beef Producers Expo Creative Workshops – kindly subsidised by the Regional Arts Development Fund.

Meet The Facilitators:

Tamara Nofz from Wrapped In String, a seasoned workshop facilitator who has been running workshops for the past 7 years. Tamara is known for her welcoming teaching style and her beautiful creations. She specialises in kokedamas, macramé, dried florals, laser etching, and signature workshop experiences, along with her White Label scent range. Her sessions are all about slowing down, working with your hands, and creating something grounded and beautiful.

Christine Koch from Miss Colour, the creative force behind Miss Colour’s innovative hands-on workshops. Christine’s sessions are all about expression, colour, and making something uniquely yours. Participants will be guided through designing and painting canvas, cutting felt, sewing protective PVC covers, and assembling their very own bespoke clutch. Her signature work includes hand-painted PVC clutches, earrings, and bold statement accessories – each piece a celebration of individuality and creativity.

🌸Macramé Horseshoe Plant Hanger Workshop with Tamara Nofz (Wrapped In String)
A beginner-friendly introduction to macramé where you’ll create a stylish plant hanger using simple knotting techniques. No experience needed-just bring your curiosity.

👜 Handmade Clutch Workshop for Beginners with Christine Koch (Miss Colour)
Dive into colour, design, and hands-on making as you create your own bespoke clutch. From painting and cutting to sewing and assembly, you’ll be guided through every step and leave with a finished piece that’s truly your own.

These workshops are relaxed, beginner-friendly, and designed to give you a creative outlet in the middle of a busy Expo weekend. You don’t need any prior experience – just a willingness to have a go and enjoy the process.
